Independent legislative-branch office reviewing how state agencies handle citizens' complaints.

The Arizona Ombudsman-Citizens’ Aide reviews the administrative acts of state agencies (not private companies) under A.R.S. § 41-1371 to 1383. It requires the complainant to have first given the agency a reasonable opportunity to respond (A.A.C. R2-16-301) and cannot compel a specific outcome.
